My life has been devoted to horses. I grew up in Germany, where my father bred warmbloods.

From my early childhood I have learned to ride, train and care for horses. In Germany, I completed  my Pferdewirtschaftsmeister, which is the highest certification attainable as a German equine professional. This process involves many years (8+) of intensive training and testing by experts, and covers multiples riding disciplines, medical care, health and nutrition, farm management and much more!

I grew up showing German Warmbloods and German Riding ponies, following my father’s footsteps with his love of Horses. As an adult, my two passions became Dressage, and working with disabled kids and adults. I had one of the first riding programs  for Autism  back in 1995, and would really love to do this again here in the US.  Special Riding  programs, or Hippotherapy, bring disabled children and adults together with horses in a world where disabilities can fade away, if only for a short time. Fears can be overcome, self-esteem built up, and the horses can inspire confidence. Often, these programs can give control of movement via the horse to a child that has not much control. It’s incredibly rewarding.

I look forward to meeting you, and helping you reach your goals, whether those goals include pleasure or competition riding!
